David has experience of working with many species of timber to create beautiful tabletops, desktops and worktops. We aim to find beautiful pieces of wood with lovely grain that can be both hard-wearing, and also a centrepiece of the space in its own right.
We work with suppliers who can procure very local timber, such as English Oak and Ash or species from abroad like American Black Walnut or White Oak. We finish our solid timber tables and desks in food safe, natural, plant oils which can be reapplied to ensure they last for generations.
Designing Handmade Custom Tables and Desks
You might already have a design in mind for your bespoke table or desk or you might be starting from scratch. We are closely involved in the design process to ensure that the table or desk will fit your space and needs precisely. We aim to make a functional piece of furniture, and also something that will bring something special to any room it is in for years to come.

We also take time to get to know how you will be using the table and in which space in your home, so we can ensure that it not only fits the space but serves its intended purpose.
The cost of such unique items of furniture can be hard to estimate because they can vary so widely in materials, style and size. If you have a budget in mind it is always worth sharing this with us early on so we can work with you to achieve your design for a cost you can afford.
